Foster School Buddy Program

Each quarter we host a number of exchange students at our Seattle campus.  UW undergraduate business students can sign up to be Foster School Buddies to help our exchange students become familiar with the Foster School of Business.

As a Foster School Buddy, you will be introduced to your exchange student at least one month prior to their arrival.  Buddies meet the exchange students at the airport and are a friend during their stay here at the Foster School.  The types of experiences shared are as varied as you like, everything from introducing them to the American lifestyle, inviting them to your family gatherings or friend outings, taking them on day trips, or even showing them where to buy their books and coursepacks.

To sign up to be a Foster School Buddy, email your name, year, business option(s), countries in order of preference, and 1-2 paragraphs on why you would like to participate in this program to goabroad@u.washington.edu.
