Workshop Overview

The 2008 Doctoral Internationalization Consortium in Information Systems was held June 26-28, 2008 at the University of Washington Foster School of Business.  This was the second consortium organized by the UW CIBER in the burgeoning field of Information Systems, and it is one in a series of consortia in the functional areas of business administration sponsored by the Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at Duke University, Purdue University, University of California - Los Angeles, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Washington.  The main purpose of the consortium is to stimulate long term research and teaching interests in international Information System topics among doctoral students from leading business schools and universities across the United States.
