What is NIBEN?

The Northwest International Business Educators Network (NIBEN) is a consortium of international business educators in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Formed in 1991, NIBEN's goals are to increase resource-sharing and provide faculty development opportunities for the region’s international business faculty.  NIBEN's activities include an annual workshop and an annual grant program for faculty development in international business education. 

NIBEN is administered by the Global Business Center, home of UW CIBER (Center for International Business Research and Education). CIBER is funded in part by the US Department of Education and the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. Please contact uwciber@u.washington.edu for more information.

The NIBEN listserv facilitates communication among international business educators. NIBEN news will be sent periodically to listserv member and NIBEN listserv members can also request to post items, such as information on seminars, new programs, questions, on teaching materials, or queries on research topics.  The NIBEN listserv is closed list and all subscription and posting requests are approval by the list moderator.  Subscribe to the NIBEN Listserv
