The Global Business Center is sponsoring a Study Abroad Photo Contest for current Foster School of Business students. This contest celebrates the amazing international opportunities our students experience while studying and interning abroad. |

2008 Guidelines
1. One entry per student.
2. Student must be a currently enrolled (Fall 2008) Foster Business Student. The contest is open to both undergraduate and MBA students.
3. Undergraduates: Picture must be from a study abroad / international internship program that took place between Fall 2007 – Summer 2008. Photos from 2008 Exploration Seminars will be accepted.
4. MBAs: Picture must be from a study abroad / international internship program that took place between Fall 2007 – Fall 2008.
5. Must be an original photo taken by the student or an original photo with the submitting student in the photo. It may not be edited using any software. We would like real pictures, please!
6. Must be an electronic submission. Photos should be at least 500 KB in size.
7. Pictures will be judged by a committee of Foster School faculty and staff.
8. You automatically agree to the release of information and permission for reprint.
9. Closing date for submissions: November 1, 2008.
10. Winners will be annoucned during the International Education Week, November 17 - 21, 2008.
Prizes
First Place: $100 University Bookstore gift card
Second Place: Starbucks gift card
Third Place: Foster School gift pack
How to Enter
Step 1: Please submit your entry to goabroad@u.washington.edu as a JPEG file. In the email, include your name.
Step 2: Complete the online submission form with the supporting information:
- Your Name
- Student ID Number
- Title of Photo (Be creative!)
- Caption (Be even more creative!!)
- Your Foreign Institution or program
- Where the photo was actually taken
- Quarter/semester of exchange
- Short description about your experience
Only students who have completed Step 1 and Step 2 will be accepted.
