The Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington works with over 1600 undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Business Administration. Through a variety of programs, the Global Business Center strives to build global business expertise within this group of students. Through our federally-funded CIBER grant and corporate sponsorships, we are able to offer students a premier group of programs that takes their studies beyond the classroom and out across the globe.
Global Business Center Scholarships
To support the additional expenses of an exchange or study abroad program, Global Business Center Scholarships are available for undergraduate Foster School of Business students. The Global Business Center provides numerous scholarships starting at $500.
Criteria
You must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Participation in an exchange, internship, or study abroad program approved by the University of Washington.
- Completed Concurrent Enrollment form, submitted to the UW International Programs & Exchanges office. (EXCEPTION: students participating in EUSA do not have to complete this step.)
- Program will take place between Summer 2008 - Spring 2009.
- Undergraduate Michael G. Foster School of Business status during participation in the program.
- Determination of financial
need based on FAFSA form.
- In good standing with the Michael G. Foster School of Business and University of Washington.
Application
Please submit the following by Monday, June 2, 2008 to Lewis Hall 313:
- Completed Application Form
- Personal Statement: One page statement discussing your academic background, career goals, and explanation of how an exchange or study abroad program enhances or supplements your education or career goals.
- UW Unofficial Transcripts
- Copy of IPE Concurrent Enrollment form (not required for EUSA students).
