MBA Programs
- For 2008, U.S.News & World Report ranked the UW Full-Time MBA Program 11th among public schools and 29th among all national business schools. The Evening MBA Program ranked 26th overall and for the first time this part-time MBA Program was nationally ranked. Graduate business specialty rankings:
- Business Week ranked the Evening MBA Program 2nd among public schools and 16th among national business school part-time programs in a 2007 student survey.
- The Wall Street Journal ranked the Full-Time MBA Program 22nd among 51 regional business schools in 2006.
- Business Week ranked the Full-Time MBA Program among its top 50 national business schools in 2004.
- The Economist's Economist Intelligence Unit ranked the Full-Time MBA Program 26th among schools world wide and 15th among US schools in 2007.
- London's Financial Times ranked the Full-Time MBA Program 44th among 100 business schools world wide and 21st among US schools in 2008.
Executive Education
Undergraduate Program
- For 2008, Business Week ranked the Foster School of Business Undergraduate Program 11th among public institutions, 33rd among all national business schools, and 5th for student return on investment.
- For 2007, U.S.News & World Report ranked the Undergraduate Program 7th among public institutions and 23nd among over 400 public and private national business schools. Undergraduate specialty rankings:
Faculty and Research Achievements
- According to the 2008 index of research productivity, the Foster School of Business has the nation's 10th most prolific faculty in business administration and was ranked 2nd in the number of times that researchers from other universities cited the research of Foster School faculty between 2003 and 2006.
- The Top 100 Business School Research Rankings, published by the School of Management at the University of Texas in Dallas, ranks the Foster School of Business 21st for research contributions made between 2002 and 2006.
- The Financial Accounting Standards Board named Foster School of Business's Accounting Professor Shiva Rajgopal and Assistant Professor of Accounting Frank Hodge to its new seven-member Financial Accounting Standards Research Initiative.
- Foster School of Business co-hosted the inaugural (2006) and second annual (2007) Seattle Innovation Symposium, bringing together more than 100 multidisciplinary researchers and IT industry leaders for an unprecedented collaboration in emerging technology innovation.
