Degree programs prominent in national rankings

In BusinessWeek’s first-ever ranking of part-time business degree programs, the Foster School of Business Evening MBA Program has been ranked 16th nationally and 2nd among all public schools.

BusinessWeek’s methodology was comprised of several measures: A part-time MBA student survey measured general student satisfaction. Post-MBA information was taken from a student survey based on the percentage of respondents who said their program was "completely" responsible for them achieving their goals. Graduates also reported salary increase information. Finally, an academic quality score with six equally-weighted measures included average GMAT score, average work experience, percentage of tenured faculty teaching in the part-time program, average class size in core classes, number of business electives available for students, and the part-time program’s completion rate.

BusinessWeek also currently ranks the Foster School’s Undergraduate Program 25th nationally, eighth among public institutions, and fourth overall for return on investment.

In other recent magazine and newspaper rankings:

The Economist Intelligence Unit rated the Foster MBA Program 26th among the world’s top 100 business schools—and fifth among public universities in the United States. It also ranked the Foster Executive Education third in the world among customized programs.

U.S.News & World Report ranked the Foster School’s Undergraduate Program 25th nationally, and 15th among public universities. Earlier this year, U.S.News ranked the Foster MBA Program 29th nationally and 11th among public universities, and the School’s Evening MBA Program 26th overall.
